Another popular daisy that is also commonly known as Marguerite. It originates from Macaronesia, namely the volcanic Canary Islands, the Savage Islands and Madeira.
They can be grown from seed as well as from cuttings. The Marguerite Daisy is a time-honoured favourite. Argyranthemums can be used in mixed containers or large tubs. They also look great in the garden borders. They will flower until hard frost. Remove spent blossoms for continuous bloom. They make excellent cut flowers.
It is a tender perennial, so it is advised to take cuttings in late summer or lift the plants before the first frosts to overwinter indoors in a frost-free place.
